This is my 2nd post, the 1st was in the wrong forum and the guys told me to post my question here. I have several vintage Craftsman ratchets (30s & 40s) along with other manufactures that I have purchased without the detent ball and I wondered if someone had a source for them. I live in a little desert town in California and there are no sources here. I would like to know what size the 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2" drive ball is so I might be able to buy on line?
I look forward to being here. Happy New Year Everyone.
My Regards
Gene

Do you have a local bicycle shop? If it's an old school one the mechanic should have an assortment of grade 25 ball bearings for rebuilding old cup and cone type wheel bearings, headsets, bottom brackets, etc.
