Yes I've searched but can't find anything. Im building a detach garage and not sure what size panel I need. I want to be able to run my compressor and powder coating oven along with the lights and a few plugs on. Planning to run 15 t8 8ft lights, 240v compressor and a basic house oven. That's about the most that will be run at one time and no electrition will look at cause it's to small of a job so I'm on my own.

I would get a square D panel with 100amp breaker, something like.....

You can add circuits as you need them, and the cost of admission is pretty decent. Other makes are good, but the Square D is pretty universal and well known
Be safe with the install, and you may need an inspection, regardless.

Add up the max amps you think will be used at the same time and size the feed at 125%. I'm thinking at least 100A, but you may need 125A. The oven will be the power hog and if you throw an electric heater into the mix you'll need the extra juice.
It's going to be a 30x40 with 2 bay doors. No electric heat I'm using wood since it's basically free for me. I do have a welder and it may get used in place of the oven but the compressor will always be in use.

given the size, I would go for a 20 space panel, and at least 100amp, It is much nicer to have some spares than to swap out the panel in a year or two as you use your shop more, or add a hobby or two to the mix.

2 of your 12 spaces will be used by receptacles
2 of your 12 spaces will be used by a garage door opener
1 of your 12 spaces might be used by an outside light or outlet.
Not many spares, if you want to add a window AC unit, or another tool or two.

100A is MORE than enough for a non-commercial garage of this size that isn't heated via electricity.
# of circuits will depend on your plans, etc. But a 40 circuit panel isn't a heck of a lot more money so I'd just go with the 40 circuit panel even tho you'll likely only use 20 or so of those circuits. Lots of room for more circuits in the future.

Good info never thought about the spaces I was focusing on the amps. I was also going to do a disconnect for the air compressor since it's going to be out back under the lean aswell and I'll do the one panel posted above since it comes with a few breakers aswell unless I can get a 125 for the same price.

The panel you linked to is for exterior use. Are you mounting the panel on the outside of the building? If the panel is inside then use an interior style panel, they're cheaper.
