Hey guys. I'm looking at buying my first slide hammer. I don't need it for a specific job right now, but I've had jobs in the past which would've been a lot easier with one and I would like to have one in the toolbox for the future. I'm pretty much decided on the OTC brand, but they have at least 4 different sized sliders. There was a little 1.25# with a short handle for getting into smaller places, a 2.5#, 5#, and a 10#. I was just wondering what sort of jobs each size would be suited for. I plan on buying the grip wrench adapters to use on my vise grips for sure. It would've been nice in the past to have a cv axle puller and a blind bearing puller so I was thinking about getting those. Also the large and small three jaw pullers. But I got to thinking, "Where does it stop?" So now I'm here asking for your guy's advice.
