What size T8?

Hi all,
I have a 25x25 garage and looking to replace two regular bulbs with T8 florescent lights.

What size would be sufficient? 2 - 8' or would 2 - 4' be a sufficient amount of light?

My bud said it perfect, next time around hes goin 4 footers due to less storage room for those and everywheres got them in stock.

I would go a third option, 4 4 footers. Is this per row?

just 2 rows - one 4 footer in each row

I just put them up and it's plenty of light for general use - MUCH brighter than the 2 puny 60W original bulbs
