I want to get an ultrasonic cleaner but I don't know what size (capacity) I need to clean carburetors. I have some Holleys and motorcycle carburetors that need to be rebuilt and cleaned.
I know there are several threads on the topic but none of the address the size (gallons, liters) .
I would appreciate your help so I can make a decision.
Thank You

How can anyone give you an answer without knowing the dimensions of the carbs? I'll give you a hint. Whatever you place in a US cleaner needs to be suspended at least a couple inches from the bottom and all 4 sides. The cheapy cleaners without a sweep function will likely have dead spots so you may need to reposition the carb. several times.

Sorry about carb dimensions but I assumed that the folks in this forum would be familiar with the size of a four barrel carburetor.
I know some are bigger than others. I hoped that someone in the forum who has an ultrasonic cleaner for the purpose of cleaning carburetors would respond.

I have a 15 liter & it has worked well for 4 barrel carb-sized objects. Without measuring it I would say it is about a 16" cube.

My order history on Amazon says its a Tek Motion 15L however when I click on the product to "order again" it comes up as a Creworks 4 gallon.

I have a handful of different ones from tiny to huge.

Like he said above, the 15l is what you're looking for.

I have USA made L&R, and the Chinese ones from Amazon and eBay. The USA made ones do work a little bit better but not 4 to 8 times better for the price.

Put it this way. If something takes 5 minutes in my USA made one it may take 7 minutes in the import.

Also, you're going to love it. After the first time you use it you will never want to clean anything by hand again.

I also bought mason jars and have them full of different stuff. Mineral spirits, WD-40, evaporust, ETC... If I have small parts I can put them in the mason jar and then just drop the whole mason jar into the ultrasonic cleaner basket. Because I usually keep purple power degreaser in the ultrasonic...

Don’t guys disassemble carbs prior to cleaning? The carb doesn’t necessarily have to go from engine to ultrasonic cleaner in one piece.
