I have a question but my electrician is on vacation, I've asked other people but keep getting different answers. I have to pull the service wire from my house to garage. I already have a 2" conduit in the ground. The run is 250' and the panel is 200A, I'm in ma so I think the max is 100A to the garage. What size wire do I pull???
4C 2/0 alum??? What kind too

Backup. First we need to know your loads. One man shop? AC, electric heat, water heater, welder, plasma cutter, compressor(How many HP?) etc?.....

Just because your panel is rated 200a doesnt mean you need to feed it 200a!

I would if I could...but with a 200a panel all I can pull is a 100a sub. But it's a big garage 32x48. Tig machine is 60a and air comp is 30a so right off the bat I'm pushing it if the both ran at the same time
