What size wire?

I am running wire from my house to my garage. I have a 100amp box in garage 200 amp in house. What size wire do I need. I plan to run in conduit.

What's the total length of conduit from the panel in the house to the panel in the garage?

did this a few years ago with 2 gauge copper THHN in conduit about 30 feet long

I wish we had used larger conduit. I basically had to push it threw then glue it together after the wires were in place.

Roughly 125 feet.

you will not regret upsizing the wire one size at that length

1/0 aluminum might be cost effective

2 ga copper is the min, but again, one size up would be good
