Hello,
I'm in the design process of our new place. I need sizing suggestions on the two garages.
The first garage will simply be for attached parking. It needs to house a 3/4 crew cab short bed pickup, suv and one access door. I'm thinking a 26' (w) x 28' (d). Is this sufficient for parking space only or would I be better off with a 28x30 etc? I plan to install the access door on the depth side.
The second is an oversized one stall with 12' wide door. The garage door will be on the right side, access door to it's left, and then a 3' wide tool bench. The depth will be around 30' and i'm questioning the width. I want to be able to pull a car in and still be able to put a jack underneath it comfortably on the right side with the width of a lawn tractor, utv or golf cart on the left plus the 3' bench. I'm thinking aound 22' or 24' wide?
I know the whole buy the biggest thing I can afford but i'm also trying to be reasonable and realistic.
-Thanks
