Going through my late grandfather's things I find this Snap-On multi tool. Cannot find any information about it nor a similar looking one online. No date code that I can see. Any ideas?

Just a guess but probably sold by Alltrade at Costco. They used to sell the use of their name to them for things like that at Costco. I might be completely wrong also.
Yeah, it's not an actual Snap On manufactured tool.
It's just something that has been authorized (paid a license fee) to use the Snap On brand. That's why you can buy Snap On pocket knives at AutoZone or Snap On (or CAT) branded ratchet straps at Costco.

Interesting, a long time ago my grandparents did have a Costco membership.
Right after posting this I finally found a photo and the part number for this multi tool. 870526 and it is an official licensed product.
