Just scored this tonight. I think it's in great shape for a 1936. I'm just going to take it apart and clean it. NO PAINT,,,lol. I like that old patina.

Check it out fresh off the truck. Needs a bath.

Good old chrome. I was going to buff it. But I'm afraid I might take off the paint,,,lol. That would be a crime.

Not to split hairs, but I think the machine might be closer to ‘39, as the older 900’s had square depth stops. The first pic is from the 37-38 catalog, the other from the ‘39. But you’re correct, that is an older style base, as I think they dropped the ‘Patent Pending’ on it around 39, and it also has the double spindle motor that came standard with the ‘38 D925. I just acquired a machine, very similar to yours. I’d love to see how yours came out. Peter
