What the *&+#@ are these odd tools?

Help! I picked these up recently, and have no idea what they are. My first thought was, of course, dental picks, but the points are somewhat removable, the handle is black steel, and there are too many places for bacteria to become lodged.


Anyone have an idea? They are about 7" overall.

They would certainly work for clay modeling, but there are two problems with this: one, the handles are steel, and there would be rust. Two, the clay would get into the ends where the screws are and mess up the works.

I think they are for something else, but have no idea what.

Dental stuff would be stainless for the most part. Although they do use aluminum and special coatings now a days. Its All Due to sterilization requirements...

My guess there model makers tools designed or based on Dental picks that are made for less money than your true medical tools which can be very costly...

The question is did the guy make train displays... boats who knows...clay...ect


Personally I use similar ones for o rings, gaskets, and seals on installation/removal.

There dental picks. I have a bunch of them and they come in real handy so hold onto them. Just used one yesterday to take apart an old Craftsman ratchet.
