That looks like a nice adjustable lamp. Unfortunately, it is missing the base, cord, socket, bulb and shade.

Old Man Roger is right. I found it in my 1922 Central Scientific Supply catalog. It's missing the base of the pump, including the circular glass plate that would serve as a base for a bell jar to sit on when doing experiments requiring a vacuum environment.
