What the #%&@ is this?

Here's an odd one. Obviously it is a puller of some sort, but for what? It was bought from a mechanic, has no name on it, is made in USA.

A Google search under pullers came up dry, and when I tried to search by this picture, Google told me it was a rifle (!) Not likely.

Anyone seen one of these before? Thanks in advance.

It is a Puller to pull the distributor gear off of a Ford TFI-IV distributor. And also install.

Someone else asked the same thing a few weeks back.

That is a Ford distributor gear puller. Thexton made one, model 415.
