What to do about contraction joints in concrete before epoxy.

So I already purchased a whole kit from armor-poxy. I went with the armorclad system with primer and clear coat. I have finished painting the wall and ceilings and I am now ready to start the prep for the floor. I however am worried about the contraction joints. There are several throughout the garage and ideally i'd like to have them filled so casters and whatnot don't catch on them. I also have some cracks in the concrete that likely should be patched before the epoxy goes down but I'm not sure what product I should use to take care of that. I've done some research but really all it did was make me more confused as to what to do.

I have attached some pictures of what I am working with. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Wow, those are some big joints. I suggest that you contact ArmorPoxy for the joint filler material. It will have the elongation you need to help prevent cracks forming in the coating. You most likely can use the same material on the cracks as well. Just keep in mind that when filling contraction joints you run a slight risk of any new cracks that form in the joints will telegraph through to the coating.

Geez those are trenches. I used silkaflex which lays down nice in warm weather. But for something that big think I’d want something more solid. My joints were just a saw cut width. Silka is very hard and it could work but I’d be concerned if you were rolling anything heavy across that seam.

Agree these are large joints.

Best to epoxy the floor and then get our Flexible Joint Fuller to fill the joints after coating.

Thanks for the responses everyone.

I measured the trenches and they are about 1/2" - 3/4" in width and about 1" at the deepest.

So would you then throw fleks and clear on top of it? I would assume not but I'm not sure. Also what would you recommend for the cracks in the floor?
