This is FRESH rabbit (i.e., not frozen). Which means it is killed, cooled, and shipped to you. I suspect most of what you are paying for is 'shipping without freezing.'

I agree with loading the cards on Amazon and saving them until you know what you want, and/or emergency. I actually buy almost everything on Amazon. I'm a Prime member, so free shipping on their items. TP, paper, toothpicks, kitchen goods, bathroom goods, pillows, dog treats, office stuff, GFs garden stuff...just everything.

However, I CL/YardSale A LOT. The older I get the more I try to stretch that dollar. That being said, I only buy stuff from Amazon that you can not get from CL/YS.

Assuming you have a chop saw and a good cordless drill (or two)... the table saw is a necessity (if you have room for one). Treat it with respect and you will find it extremely useful.

Build a crosscut sled and you will never want to use the circular saw again.

So true. I use my crosscut sled on my Ridgid table saw for every crosscut that will fit on it. My sled is the size of the table top itself. A true joy to use, and I get out the circ saw as little as possible. BUT, as SunnyBeach said, treat it with respect. Learn how to use it properly and learn about the various causes of kickback, etc. so you can be safe on it. And only take off the blade guard/splitter assembly if you MUST. (okay, lecture over :)
