First thing that come to mind is to open a bakery!:lol_hitti...but guessing that is not a option....so how about cutting out a few sliders to give more room and using it as on open style tool storage...put some tool box drawer padding on the baking sheets (assuming you get some sheets with it) and then you put tools on the trays...

...I know not that original but just spitballing here...:dunno:

Cut some plywood shelves and use it to store **** in your garage? I've heard of people using them in the kitchen with sheet pan shelves and storing their kitchen equipment on them.

I thought about going the plywood route but that might cost me a small fortune in plywood. :eyecrazy:

I've though of modifying it and using it as a paint rack. :dunno:

It was too cool to pass up for $60.

alum sheet pans come $5 a pop, you should use it for your kitchen. I use mine to store my clothes, photography gear. It looks pretty swell all lined up in a row.

I made a BBQ with mine. Bottom most shelf is for bags of briquettes. Middel shelf has a rectangle cut out with half 55g barrel welded in. The cut out piece was then put back in the barrel to support the briquettes so there'd be proper flue effect. Note the position of the filler cap at the bottom to draw air.

Top shelf is the grilling surface. I drilled some holes in the vertical bars so the the rack can be easily be positioned at the proper height with pins. The rack is almost two feet longer than the barrel underneath. This allows you to move finished food, or food still be cooked, off the side.

The other half the barrel can be placed on top of the rack when needed to keep heat in.

I've served many a huge meal with this one.

Three of us made it in about an hour one weekend before a party. Beer in hand, of course. No safety police need apply.

Would you be able to pick up cheap plastic totes that slide down the tray holders and make a rolling storage tray out of it? Maybe even empty and put a panel in there for a work surface?
