What to do with a dead import jack?

I've got a POS Duralast (Larin) 2.5T SUV jack. Since I bought it, it has leaked and only gotten worse. I've replaced the seals on it 4 times now with minimal/temporary improvement with help from master HiBall, even using OEM parts.

Nevertheless, it's dead again, and I have another jack already.

I hate throwing stuff in the trash. Anyone ever do something else with a dead jack?

I was thinking of making it into a small storage cart with the wheels and frame removing the hydraulics. I'm open to ideas.

Drain the hydraulic fluid and drop it off at a metal salvage yard.

Jack it up without a load to the highest point and weld the ram to the cylinder, put it out on the road and sit back and watch the fun.....

just put it next to your garbage, in plain sight, and the sheeny man will take it. it would not last an hour here.

i have no problem with the sheeny men who legitimately want the metal out of our garbage, as long as they do not make a mess. the blackened teeth meth heads looking through garbage for info they can sell off for quick cash to identity theft people, on the other hand, i hate.

Our community has a spring cleanup day where we can put our junk out on the street and they come by and pick it up "for free" which is a misnomer because we pay a small monthly charge to fund this campaign.

I always put out an assortment of discards, much of it metal. Without fail, the scavengers come by and take everything that is sell-able at the local scrap metal yards. And I mean they take everything. Old BBQs, old broken garden equipment, busted chunks of anything metal. Aluminum and copper are obviously cherished but they even took our old cast iron bathtub.
