What to do with a laser guide?

Harbor Freight sells this neat little laser guide/marker for $5.99. Its fully adjustable and puts out a bright red straight line to use as a guide. Here I stuck it on an antique sewing machine to use as a fabric guide. I'm sure it could be used on many different tools; saws, drill press, chop saw - what else? Lets hear your ideas, or better yet, show how you've used one.

A friends wife uses one when calligraphy writing on cards or blank sheets of paper. You reminded me I need to let a friend that's getting into sign painting he could use a lazer level for his lettering.

I remember the old days when people love to install fiberglass kick panels and customer pods for speakers in their car they used these similar laser guides to help aim the pod to the center of the ceiling for optimum sound...
