Hi Guys,

Heres a stupid question. What do you do with all your stuff for prep work and painting on an epoxy floor?

I've been my house for many years and the garage is packed to the gill. I don't have room elsewhere in the house and can't leave it outside (I live in a city).

Your thoughts please. Rent some moving pods, but just put my things in there for the week or two. Rent a U-haul truck and load it up and park it on the street?

Thanks.

I know several people have used PODS. Depending on the size and the layout, if you are not filling the joints and you can use those as a natural break, its possible to do portions of the garage at a time -- depending on the system you are using. I am not a fan of this, but it an be done.

If you are in a major metro area, sometimes you can rent shipping containers cheap.

Moving van rentals are a great option also. The rental per day can be real cheap if you are not driving the vehicle.

I agree, rent a u-haul vehicle or two to store the stuff. Since you are not going to be driving anywhere the cost should be minimal. Plus, as an added bonus, you can back the vehicle right in the garage for easy loading.

10-4 on the moving van. Much less than Pods or Pack-Rats. They generally make money on the mileage not the cost of the rental. We use them all the time.
