Just bought a Snap-on 1/2" metric deep socket set (310TSM) in the original plastic from a pawn shop. I opened it and realized that there are two 14mm sockets instead of a 14mm and 15mm. All the sockets are marked 2010 date code except for the extra 14mm socket which is marked 2003 date code. None of the sockets look like they have ever had a ratchet on them. I'm not disappointed because mistakes are bound to happen, but the difference in the dates of the sockets is really odd.

What would you guys recommend doing? I dont think the seller would do anything because its not really their fault. Should I send snap-on an email? I dont have a SO dealer. Thanks in advance guys

Sell 14mm, buy 15mm.

Yep. I agree.

Asking your driver would be my first suggestion as he may have a single 15mm around that you can trade for, but since you have no driver, your only option is to call Snap-On customer service and ask if you send in the 14mm will they send you a 15mm, and see of there is any cost involved.

Other route is to just sell or keep the 14mm and buy a new 15mm.

I just sent SO an email about a trade, hopefully they respond

Selling it is out of the question, people dont want to pay anything for snap-on around here, even if its brand new.
