Just had a bendix-Westinghouse tu-flo 400 compressor pump land in my care for a princely sum of $1. It is and engine oiled 2 cylinder pump from a semi. Spec. lists a 0-100psi fill time for a 5 gallon tank of approx 40 seconds. Approx 7.5 cfm at 1700rpm. I checked it over and it works well though it's filthy, what the heck do I use it for? I considered running the pump and an external oil pump off of a single 2-3 hp motor but not sure it's worth all that. What would you do? Its nice because they are designed to constantly run with a variable load.
