What to do?

I have a brick 22 x 20 a little over 2 car garage. The floor and foundation are good. I want a 28 x 26 and was thinking of supprting whats there, add on , put a foundation under it and float the new floor into the old. Am I smoking something? I would say tear it down but put a new roof on 6 months ago. Bite the bullet and rip it down>

I assume it is a detached garage? If it is in good shape plus a new roof then I would really try to save it and enlarge it. Post some exterior pics to stimulate ideas from members.

Yep detached just bad brick job in 37 when it was built. I just need more width and depth to work in.

If it's in good shape and can be added on to, why tear it down ?
