That’s a great outcome for you, happy to hear your update.

Prior to your update I was going to be in the $100 good deal / $200 fair camp. Sounds like in your situation they really just needed the stuff gone, corporate isn’t counting the money, the manager just needed to show he was fair and accountable for the disposal of items. Hope you can get a deal on one of the presses.

10-ish years ago, the benches, cabinets, miscellaneous storage could usually be had for very little money, if not free, at the end of the industrial auctions. I once made 2 trips with a full size truck and dump trailer out of a gear manufacturer’s closing sale with dozens of benches, stands, cabinets, etc. and outfit everyone I knew with items before selling the rest. For free, or I may have given the auctioneer’s load-out guy $50. They were honestly just happy it was getting cleaned out.

Update:

I was able to wait until the very last week of shop/warehouse clean-up and I acquired the workbench/vise for free. I didn't plan it this way, but with my racing schedule and work projects, I just ended up in a good spot.

Next is to make an offer on one of the four hydraulic presses, Snap-On sand-blaster, and narrow flammables cabinet. (y)
Nice!

Are there multiple flammables cabinets? :-D
