Drywall is probably the least expensive wall and ceiling cover.

Money is only a factor at the time you spend it, once you've spent the money on something nice you'll never regret it.

Use white steel, not all that hard to do and will look nice for a long time.

Go with the steel not that bad on price easy to install and you can wash it down if it get dusty. I put tin on the ceiling of my 30x60 and used osb on the side walls. Makes it easier if you want to add cabinets or hang anything on walls.

You shouldn't have to frame up as much for the steel, you can get it in long sheets, and it looks like a million bucks. It's very nice for ceilings.

I recently went through the same decision. I decided on white steel and could not be happier with the results. I'm only 1/2 way done with my first section of my pole barn. A 16' X 30' vaulted ceiling. But it does look great (to me.) Got me fired up enough to keep going with the rest of the ceiling after the vaulted portion is done.

Best part, no taping, sanding or painting. Or cracks in the drywall.

Yes same stuff. I used the stuff they stock at Menards as pole barn siding. They also have a lighter gauge that is made for interior lining. It is special order and a little cheaper. I would have used it if I would have had the time to wait. As it worked out I had time to work on the shed during vacation so could not wait.

Double check on the tin that you use... They make some that have a slightly taller rib to span up to 8' between rafters so you don't have to add any girts for support.
