Can I ask for some recommendations / real world experience with covering a concrete floor with tile products like RaceDeckor any others?
I have an older pained concrete floor. It looks like hell and I am shopping around for ideas on flooring materials. Thinking in terms of Racedeck or some other such product that can be installed over the painted floor.
My concern is the humidity in Atlanta in the summer. I am thinking that moisture getting under "tiles" (what ever brand I might chose) will become an ideal place for mold to grow. This garage houses a daily driver and as a result the floor will certainly see mositure when that particular car comes inside on a rainy day.
The garage does have a mini split A/C system but I can't see myself running the A/C to dry out the garage on high humidity days or after the wet car comes inside. The A/C is for when I am out there working so I am being very careful what I choose for the floor.
