What to use over older epoxy?

Looking for some advise. I used a two part epoxy five years ago and
it needs to be redone. It held up fairly well, but there are a few spots
that peeled up and I just want to get a nice bright new coating.
Is there anything that would work over the older coating if it is well
sanded and clean?
Thanks

Hey Jimmy,
If the peel up spots are not too bad, then yes, simply rough sand the floor with 60 - 80 grit sandpaper on a floor buffer machine + scrub with degreaser. Allow to dry and then reapply. The sanding will allow you to bite into the old coating. ( Plus, you may want to 1st put some on the peeled up spots only as a "primer coat", so it fills in the low spots that are bare concrete.

Just jump online and google garage flooring or garage paint and a few good suppliers will show up.

Good Luck!

Here is the plan:
Degrease, degloss (80 grit sanding screen), solvent wipe (denatured alcohol), and recoat.

I would grind the entire floor but if you feel it's largely down tight...Areas that peeled should be ground back to white concrete and spot primed ahead of the entire floor.

Definitely make sure to prime any un-coated areas, or they will appear very different due to the porosity differences of the coated areas.
