:lol_hitti The possibilities with that question! :spit:

My tools are like children, I love most of them equally. There are a few that stand out, however. Most of my favorites have a air fitting on the end of them.

Might be lame, but I really love my 20 ounce, (long) hickory handled framing hammer. I've had it for a really long time, I've used it on nearly every project I've done, and my grandfather helped me pick it out to replace my steel framing hammer when I started working as a carpenter and found out that driving nails all day with a steel hammer sucked.

I would say that I don't have a favorite tool, but the fact is I am incredibly possesive of all of them and I do go nuts when one dissapears.

never thought about it much, but the skull welding hood my GF bought for me the 1st x-mas after we moved i together. flash forward 10 years, last summer we were out wheeling and one guy ripped the ball jonts out of the spindle on his blazer. to make a long story short, i was welding the ball joints back in the spindle, she says " isnt that the welding thingy i got for you?" :headscrat
"yep, use it all the time"

Many tools I really like, hard call a favorite.

But there is something about the Milwaukee PortaBand that is fun to use to me for some reason. It's quite heavy to hold up and just steadily chews thru metal with no delays as opposed to a lighter-weight jumpy, blade bending sawzall. Though I do still find it fun using a sawzall with a big ol' demo blade to destroy some ****. :shocking:

I would have to say the Mccullough 1-41 chainsaw that my grandfather bought new sometime in the '60s that I still use to cut wood.

Second would be the Harris torch set. It seems like a lot of stuff need to be cut or heated here in the land of salt.

The old S-K 1/4" drive set in the little green steel box that I inherited from my dad. I consider it one tool as I leave it in the box as it has his handwriting on the lid with black marker.

Kind of sentimental I know.

I love my tool boxes the most. Without them I would waste countless hours finding the right tools for the job.

Flex-head metric gear wrenches. Those things are awesome. i have 8-22 set in long, stubby and xl and they are incredible.

My fav ratchet is definately the long flex-head snap-on 3/8 ratchet, its got a weird bend in the handle (made for spark plugs?) but it works on EVERYTHING.

Also my $5 tool warehouse red handled door clip tool. little fork at an angle, use it for many, many things. bought the chinese-made "master" door tool set that all 3 tool trucks sell labeled differently, ended up bring them home because my one does more than all of them and they took up too much room in my box

Hello guys;

that question ist hard to answer. But I think it´s my Rehm TIG-Welder and the Speedglass-Autodark-Helmet. But the distance to the next ones on the "most-loved-list" isn´t very large, so...

Have a nice day!

Snap On FLHF 80, 3/8, soft handle, flex ratchet. Really nice. Just bought the matching 1/4" version I liked it so much.

My Matco ratcheting wrenches have been a real good buy as well.

Damn that is a tuff question.
Either my 33 gallon air compressor, because of all the tools it runs.
Or my cordless drill/kit which I use the most.
Tough question.

Mine would have to be my torque wrench, simply because I'm normally close to finishing up a project/job when I get to use it...

Hard question, but I suppose it would be between my Lincoln mig welder and my band saw. My tap and die set might be third

My favorite tool is actually contained in a drawer in one of my roll aways. the drawer has a Body Hammer, (hence my signature), and my check book. Anything I can't fix with the hammer, I reach for the check book. Seriously in the mid 70s instead of going to college I went to trade school for Autobody. I wasen't good enough to make a living at it so I am a Machinist. My parents presented me with the required tools, and box for the classes, and too this day I cherish that Body Hammer.
