It has T USA on it. No numbers and no other lettering. It is 6 pieces plus a small bar. The tools are 2" tall and the widest one is 1 3/4".

Wrench set for threaded rings with four slots in the faces - used in camera lenses and the like. Usually you use a spanner wrench for that, but these thingies look like they're made to grab three of the slots, and then use the bar to turn them. A kind of guess, but I've worked with plenty of these rings, and they sure look like they'd do the trick. They have an automotive look - maybe for bearing retaining rings? Special auto ****** parts?
I know the rear end gearset of some motorcycles (BMW's for instance) have such a retaining ring.

I agree with the retaining ring answer

We had similar tools for working on "Cannon" plugs in the military. Many were made by ITT Cannon for interconnects. In my work, they were common on vehicular intercom systems. Below is a picture on one type of power connector where you can see the retaining ring around the portion with the four contact pins.

I think this may be it, I got it from a tool box I got and I live around a military post.
