The days of creating a tool set are long gone, but along the way I've had to add a tool here and there depending on what was at hand. Ever since working on European Cars as a hobby, I noticed I was deprived of XZN Triple Square bits. Eventually, got a hold of them, and moving on. What tools are you short of? Wish-list anyone? :D

I could use a real floor jack and some better wood chisels.Actually the chisels are something that will be the be$t but I don't have a project to justify that sort of output.
They call them Ouchi not because they're Japanese. Because they're $140 a piece
OUCHI WAH WAH ! :willy_nil

Nothing else fits"deprived" or short of.
I'm sure many on here would beg to disagree :shocking:
I only have enough ratchets for one per week all year but not in each size :lol:

Who knows? I have assembled several sets of tools for different purposes, and no matter how much I try to have all the tools I need it seems like I always end up needing some sort of tool to do a job.

Specialty tools like oddball flywheel pullers and other engine tools and an actual shop area instead of a 2 car garage.

I would have purchased wood chisels from Nicholson this time around, but my Stanley's are holding up just fine for now.

Big difference between "Want" and "Need" ;)

Vintage Stanley 750 chisels are regarded among the best ever. Stanley has started to re-manufacture 750s again as Stanley Sweetheart chisels. These apparently are not the exact same as the old 750s but they get high marks too.

I need to outright scrap a whole generation of common hi wear tools. I could use about 3 new pair of number 9 and the same for dykes. I picked up a pair wouldn't cut a tie wrap the other day. Been using them since I was 19 and no matter how good they were just plain worn out.

I've taken plenty of pictures in the past, most recent were the Tekton Long Reach Pliers I had questions about ;)

I don't think the OP will ever take pics, trolling is his business and business is good.

Every time l need a pair of pliers l go to my tool box, open "that" drawer and think, "You know, it's about time l invest in some good pliers."

My birthday is coming ;)

I could really use a good workbench, something completely solid that would never move while planing and that will never rack under pressure.

I could use another Tool Box. But most likely specialty wrenches is what I could use a lot more of I don't think I NEED them but it would def make life easier.

I'd give just about anything for a set of full lens magnifying safety glasses that NEVER fog up even when wearing a dust mask.

I too have assembled a collection. There have honestly been times Impulled out a special tool, looked at it and thought...... "What is this for?"

I then google it, say ...... "Oh yeah! I remember now!" And promptly get out my P-Touch and label it.

Moral of the story....... Don't get old kids.

So yes, I'm lacking recollective brain function at times. A most important "tool".
