Happy New Year to all Garage Journal Members. Been thinking about the new Tools that will come to the market this year (whether they are improved versions of their predecessors, re-branded, or newly engineered designs all together, etc) and hoping we can discuss them here. It's almost as if we're discussing the CES Trade Show of Tools here (or to be even more precise, National Hardware Show, anyone?) :). Cheers :3gears:

winlinmac,

Here is a recent GJ thread where Fedwrench was at the 2015 AAPEX Show and wrote a write up of the new tool introductions by the big manufacturers (with a few pics): LINK.

Real Tool Reviews did this cordless rivet gun a few months ago.

I fell in love with that tool. I can't wait for it to become available in the states.

Has anyone been using these clamps from Jorgenson? A Ratcheting Gear Clamp.

I bought two 4" clamps at Home Depot and have been using them for a couple of weeks now. They are a bit spendy but I was intriqued when looking at them in the store and I dare say they are very good clamps! They put down a good bit of force with very little effort on my part.
If you get a chance, pick a couple up and give them a try.

I have 11 Craftsman C3 tools and it would be nice to see them come out with some new ones, specifically brushless. I have the brushless C3 drill and its great but its been out for 2 years now and still nothing else.

I'm hoping we are going to see some more of SK's offerings. Specifically their tool storage is what I really want to see.

It would be interesting to see if SK will offer green portable metal tool boxes. Craftsman is supposed to have some new portable metal boxes out in March 2016 also.
