Hi,
the last weekends I studied my new TIG AC Welding equipment.
It is real fun ! I did several lessons, tried with AL MG and AL SI , and now feel comfortable to start a first project, - but there is no.
Anyone some good idea for an aluminium welding project, what did you recently weld?

Thanks for your inspiration and ideas
Heiko

My most recent was filling in the chunks I took out of my outboard motor prop. Just slowly filled in the missing aluminum and filed the prop fluke to match the other flukes. Of course this is a 25 up motor so balancing the prop wasn't a big issue.

The latest thing i have a picture of. I build 20 of these for a hotel. They are light bkts. After building them, I had them powder coated flat black.

Nice, looks like it has all the good features. I have yet to weld any projects yet, all just practice beads for me. I'm thinking of starting with a tig rod holder though.
