In Kamloops and Kelowna there is The Tool Place, lots of stuff, and they carry Wright. Lordco has lots of tools as well as NAPA. Lordco will sell Wright, but you have to go to the counter and ask, they will order for you, Wright does have a warehouse in Burnaby, BC, so they stock some stuff. Also there is KMS tools, Coquitlam, Langley, Abbotsford and Kamloops! If you follow the links in Gray Tools Website you will find dealers spread out all over the place. Ordering from Snap On online is easy and delivery is quick. Any electrical supplier carries Klien, as well as HD. Of course there is also CT.

I just ordered from KBC tools online. http://www.kbctools.com/can/main.cfm Their website is a bit clunky, but nothing I couldn't figure out. I've bought from them before, but have always picked up, their Mississauga warehouse is only 5 km from my work. This time, I let UPS do the dirty work.

Surprisingly, a couple of the items were shipped separately from Illinois, in separate packages. I got all 3 packages on time (Ordered Tuesday evening from home, delivered Thursday) with no freight, custom brokerage or duty charges (at least none not built into the price of the items).

One thing I noticed in their catalog was Super Lube - I've read on here about how some folks love that stuff, so I've ordered some.

G2Sequip is in Canada. Not sure if they sell direct, but they have some really good deals. I order through one of the local auto parts stores.

I don't know, I never bothered. Maybe a local milwaukee dealer would do it? I know milwaukee will handle it direct but I'm sure you'd be stuck with the shipping.

Better idea is to pricematch them with other dealers in the area. I plan on doing that for my Bosch cordless hammer.

Home Depot, Lowe's etc etc etc. As long as it's a Canadian retailer with free shipping or have a local store (very minimum must be the same province/territory), you should have no problem. I just matched Amazon (Canada) with Home Depot for a jigsaw I needed ASAP to finish a project (the 10% off doesn't hurt as well :lol_hitti). JC Cayer is located in Ontario, so that helps.

I'll second that... Just bought from JC Cayer for the first time, couldn't find a better price out there. They delivered it right to my door as I am local. I'll definitely by more tools from there.

youre lucky you didn't have a problem. theres like 10 problem threads on here about them.

I saw those, but problems between a vendor and a client aren't always the vendor's fault. Some people are just idiots or impossible to please, so I figure the are only 5 problem threads :)

Either way, I'm a happy camper.

On a Canadian woodworking site I used to follow, those threads are removed and the people banned. I stopped hanging out there because who needs that ****.

I've ordered from JCC before, although not for a while. I've had to wait a month on two items that showed as in stock ("order today, ships today"). They would have let me cancel the orders but in both cases the price was good enough that I just waited.

I've never been burned so I can't talk them down. For people who shop exclusively on price, poor service probably shouldn't come as a surprise. Maybe it's worth it to some folks?

I can't talk about the service as i've never bought from them. I simply asked them a question and got a rude reply. There have been much worse replies to other members.

I've called JCCayer a couple of times and each time the person answering the phone was respectful and civil, although not particularly knowledgable about order status, etc.

I think they're a pretty good size business with a large call center. They probably need to be in order to compete on price as they do. Large business rarely means good service but, again, they were perfectly civil.

Lately I've been buying as much as I can from BusyBeeTools.com. They had some spanking good deals over Christmas. Even their regular prices are the best in Canada that I've found, so far. They're starting to get into cordless tools but they don't have much in the way of brushless. I'm mostly into Milwaukee FUEL and they only carry a couple of items.

No website but I get my Wera screwdrivers at Bolt's Plus. They sell mainly fasteners, but I do see Bondhaus and a few other decent brands.

figured as much...after i spent a good 10 minutes trying to find em!

***** to see the poor service with JCCayer, they really do have some good prices on the milwaukee i'm looking at. i can forgive being a salty ***** occasionally...been accused of that before myself, but i can't in good conscience order from someone that does it regularly and simply won't deal with customer issues.
