Planning out my new garage and looking at 100amp or 200amp service. My home has underground feed to the meter then a panel with 200amp main breaker and 12 spaces below. From the home to the new garage is about 75’ run. I will use conduit the full run and want to have it prep before the block is laid so it enters inside the wall. So what size and type of wire would you use for 200amp service? What size conduit also. Same question for 100amp service?

This is for aluminum. 200A - #250 in 2.5" to 3" conduit. 100A - #1 in 1.5" to 2" conduit. The conduit fill depends on the wire insulation type, such as THWN vs. RHW. The equipment ground for 200A can be a #4 and for 100A it can be a #6
