I can't put in the insulation or the walls and the project is at a stand still. Do I just wait it out?

I finished the walls first. Electrical is all surface stuff. Can be inspected or re-inspected anytime.

Insurance was content with the building value I gave them, and an assurance than I didn't have a wood stove in there. No inspection.

A wood stove in a "storage or shop building" is a huge "no no" as far as your insurance company is concerned.

TIP! Always check with your insurance company BEFORE installing a wood stove, even if you obtain a fire/building permit for one.

I've learned it's a fairly standard requirement these days. Manually-fired heat in a non-dwelling unit... lends itself to being unattended. Not cool by them.

For the house, I have to assure them the wood stove is used max 35hrs per week or my rates go up.
