I posted this thread the other day with little response but I've got a plan sorta together on that front but would still appreciate any ideas.

I got what I consider another smoking deal on this 6 drawer bench and a table for $250. Desk is all metal with an angled backstab that's hollow inside. 1/8" steel.
The long table is all steel 4 steel drawers with a bowling alley too that I will likely cover.
One thought is to take the desk and put it in the corner i plan on using for metal. Most of what I would be welding/cutting/grinding would be small and it would basically serve as my welding table but close to a corner I could slide my small home use welder outside and weld anything big out there.
Long table in that scenario would be one half of a miter saw/bandsaw station.
Next thought is to take the desk and make it the center of my miter saw station and modify the back triangular area to incorporate a dust catch for my chop saw.
Any other thoughts? Guy also has another pretty cool desk similar to this for $200. Located in Conroe TX just north of Houston.
