What would you guys do with this?

I need idea's. I bought this at a yard sale last year thinking it was a sweet score. All it needed was a lock. So far though, i've just put random things in it and I don't really feel i'm using it to it's full potential. I need your input!

well if were talking about the red cabinet I would turn it into a puller cabinet to hold my pullers spring compressors slide hammers

Well, usually i'm taking something automotive apart or doing some sort of metal work. The thing is, i'm not sure i'm sold on keeping it in that location. I would be willing to relocate it, if it served a better purpose in another area of the garage.

I was sort of thinking about installing shelves inside and using it to house rattle can paint, but i'm thinking i'll run out of room pretty quickly, plus I already have an ok spot for paint. I want to do something really creative/useful with it.

If you don't have a collection of anything to display, I guess general storage. But I agree that it's not in the best place. Over a sink would be nice.

i don't really have much to display, just some models, but i already have a place to put those picked out.

i'm not sure what it was used for originally, i haven't been able to find anything online that's exactly like it and i haven't noticed any part numbers on it. I thought it was from snap on because of a key that was sitting inside of it when i got it.

Mount some pegboard to the back and hang hand tools in there.

Put some detail shelving in there and add all your drills / drill bits, again it depends on your personal interests in the tool world, how about taking up a new hobby and restore vintage tools , then show them off in the cabinet, if it was me I would go with the drill bits, or as I am more car mechanically based I would put my more diagnostic. calibration tools in there, or even a very elaborate first aid kit,

I think you hit the nail on the head, i did some research and it looks exactly like what's pictured in this link. Exact same measurements as described in the following link.

It's just missing the lock. I guess if you wanted to hang all of that stuff you'd have to find a tool control board as well, but they sell the cabinet bare for $715.

Maybe I will have to consider selling it since I still can't think of any good use for it, and my Harbor Freight $7 puller set just wont fill it up

You can never have enough storage! You just have to think about what you do and the tools YOU use. Come up with a certain group of tools and put them in there. Might be some machinist tools, start building a good set of pullers, wrenches, hammers, specialty tools of some sort, air tools, the list goes on forever depending on what you use.

Depending on the size and depth put some vents in the side and mount a small TV inside...

Got a few electric meters, OBD reader, torque wrench, dial indicators, micrometers?

Put in shelves and pegboard..keep all the stuff that doesn't "take a licking and keep on ticking" in there
