if i didnt have any SO tools, i think i'd buy a 3/8" dr long handle flex ratchet, over the years i now prefer SO hard handle screwdrivers.
SO ratcheting screwdriver is one of the best (most durable) i've ever used

The ONLY SO tool I have is a 24" 3/8" extension. That thing is unbreakable!

Ratcheting screwdriver. Then a ratchet. Best two tools, IMO, snap-on makes. Their hard handled screwdrivers are my favorite also.

I will add another vote for the ratcheting screwdriver. I've tried multiple different ones over the years that were cheaper in price but I never found one even close to performing the way the SnapOn ones do.

Ratchet, ratcheting screwdriver, other screwdrivers... and one big fat check for all of it. Those are their really good items. (Might be a few more specialized ones that I'm missing).

Everything else is just kind of "okay" IMO, and not worth the extra dollar. The tools are excellent, but for those without a truck visiting their shop all the time, it's just not worth it. This especially rings true for your average homeowner/DIY person.
