When you don't get much response to a question, reposting the same question usually doesn't help much, it means your question didn't have enough information to respond to.
A new vette with a transaxle should be fine with a scissor as long as its low enough for the car to drive over it when collapsed. Older vette with a conventional transmission, not so good for ****** work, but fine for tires and suspension.
Lots more detail is needed. How small is the garage? How low is the ceiling? Are you going to want to park under the lift? Is this a budget project, or a whats the best for my baby?
