What's a used 200A 1Ph type1 ATS really worth?

A good friend dropped this off this morning and was interested in selling it. I'm curious what it's really worth. It came from a working telephone comm building that was being demolished.

I'm almost tempted to get it and install in the shop here...but I need another project like another woman with horses...

That Transfer Switch is worth what a willing buyer will pay a willing seller for it. If you find a buyer who needs, as opposed to wants, it the value to the buyer will increase. If you are the seller and have very little invested in the transfer switch and no prospective buyers, the value of the switch will be determined by the Scrap Value.

In a perfect situation with a buyer who needs a switch the value should be approximately 50% of the new cost if the switch is clean and in Ready To Use Condition.
