What's considered 'vintage'?

I'm sure this has been asked and answered here somewhere, but for the sake of this sub-forum, how do we define vintage? The reason I ask is that I just picked up a 1973 Rockwell wood/metal bandsaw, and I'm not sure where to put the restoration thread when I fix it up. Thoughts?

Depends who's asking...

73 is vintage by most anyone's standards.

Around 1950s and older. 73... I'd barely call that old, nevermind vintage.
Unless we are talking about electronics. Shoot, something from 2013 is "vintage"

I bought my first set of new Craftsman tools and tool box in 1969, so vintage has to be older than that.
