Like most on here, mine goes in my back pocket. In my duty uniform the flap stays buttoned, and if I'm in summer PT uniform the wallet is usually in my truck. I usually keep it locked up someplace when I'm in the field.

Some of my coworkers just leave their wallets lying around. One in particular has a bad habit of leaving it on his desk (along with his Ipod, Iphone, and tablet--why he needs all that at work I don't know). Last year he thought it got stolen, and went from our workspace to the company area to the gym a few times before finally cancelling his credit cards and going to get a new common access card. A few days later he found his wallet--contents intact--in a little used pocket on his tacticool assault pack. He'd placed it there before working out and forgot where he'd left it.

Depends on what I'm doing/wearing. At work it normally sits in a cabinet over my desk with my keys. If I have jeans on, back pocket. I do wear a lot of pants similar to DBU's and it goes in the thigh pocket. I have back problems and sitting with it in the back pocket seems to make the aggravation worse. I have tried to thin it out over the years, by taking out everything possible. But **** you need a lot of **** in there, DL, Insurance cards (medical and auto), cash, stash of cash, any other cards you have.

Like others, if I'm in a crowd it goes to the front pocket.

Just so you guys know . . . A wallet that is too big to fit in a pocket is a man purse. You guys know who you are. Check your feminine sides and get back to basics.

Mine sits on my desk, next to my computer. Everyday employees and customers walk past my desk. One day it'll disappear. But I've been lucky over the last nine years.

Mine sat on my desk in my law office next to the computer and someone made it to the 39th floor and stole it off my desk (It even still contained my draft card, LOL).

Huh. Weird, my bifold doesn't comfortably fit in my pocket because of how thick it is, but I sure can't put stuff in there like a man purse. But I guess it's still a man purse because it's not comfortable to sit on.

At work, it stays in my desk drawer next to my keys and sunglasses. We have a total of 5 people here, so I'm not too worried about that. When I'm out in the winter, it goes in an inside jacket pocket; in the summer, front pocket if I can't avoid carrying it.

I only wear cargo pants, so I always keep it in the pocked thats like on the side of the thigh / knee area. Out of the way, don't have to sit on it, and noone ever checks there to steal your wallet

Front Pocket. I can sit more comfortably, and I work and walk in a lot of areas that feel that they have a right to what I own. I can keep better control of it in my pocket.

Carry it. I test drive too much to keep remembering to grab it. I sometimes leave my phone on my box and forget to bring it with me on a test drive or mission. I get a panic attack if my wallet is not in my back pocket.

Sounds like me...

I sit on mine all day. It causes back problems from being tilted to one side and wears holes in my pants, but it is a hard habit to break.
Nobody could steal from my wallet even if I left it out, because it would squeak so badly when they tried to open it that I'd hear it a block away.

I carry mine in the leg pocket of my combat style uniform trousers, Its so full/thick with money it would be uncomfortable to sit on and I drive about 100 miles a day :)

Cant be without it for a minute though as it has a company credit card and my knife etc inside it.

My wallet is in my back pocket all the time. Unless I am driving more then 2 hrs or so. Then I pull it out cause it aggravates my nerve and my foot gets numb.

When I was working in shops, it got tossed into my toolbox each morning along with truck keys and wedding band.

Nowdays, I usually only drive 1 vehicle so it just stays in the console.

I work in Corrections so my wallet usually stays in my work bag. Being in a jail or in court cells isn't the best place to have your ID in your back pocket. My phone has to go into a firearm locker at least twice a day and that takes a beating from my partner and I putting a couple of Glocks and magazines in there as well.

Yep, I used to have a trifold that stayed full of receipts, various cards, and so on. A number of years back I downgraded to a (free) wallet that carries the necessities (mil-ID, license, CCW permit, credit and debit cards, and some cash) and gets cleaned out every few months.

I know the pain some of you endure keeping the wallet in the back pocket for long trips... Mine goes in the cup holder if I'm driving more than an hour.

My wallet stays in my jeans pocket in my locker. I have photocopy of my license that i keep in one of those plastic protectors in my toolbox. When on a road test I take the photocopy.

After years of using a wallet and storing it in my back pocket AND getting some back pain from sitting lopsided, I just ditched the wallet. I now carry all my cards and money in my front left pocket with my cell on the front right. It's the perfect set up for any activity or event since it takes a lot for anything to fall out of your front pockets.

I work at a church that thankfully reaches some "raw" people. My wife's iPhone was stolen out of my office which I used to leave unlocked. Now all my stuff gets locked up in my office in a drawer. Happy that I have to!

Always in my back pocket like most real men!

If it's too thick, it's time to clean it out! I once had a co-worker who's wallet was about 3 inches thick and full of every Tom, **** and Harry's business card. He also wore one of those fanny packs to keep it in. I still laugh when I think about it. Glad that trend is history!
