You got some work cut out for you on the project car. That thing looks like it was at the bottom of the ocean for a bit.

The yellow one is a cool car for a Mordoor.

I love older european cars! hell, i love newer ones too. I'm sure you'll all laugh at the fat American smiling ear to ear standing next to a citreon C4 when i finally do make it that way. :D

Looks good. Tell me about the lighting requirements. The yellow mark 3 looks like it has composite bulbs and "city lights" (i know the term is ricer like, but i don't know the real term). Is that true? composite lights didn't hit the US until the late 80's...

Also your trailer looks to have a rear fog. I didn't realize they were mandatory on everything.

What engine is in the cortina? I don't think we got an equivalent to that over here.

Looks like you have a nice license plate collection on the wall, and a route 66 sign. ever been state side?

IIRC they were available with a 1300, 1600 or 2liter engine :(

They can actually get out of their own way if you drop a 351 in em tho :)

IIRC they were also available as a "Lotus Cortina" with a hopped up engine and suspension. Or was that only the Mk I ? :)
Friend of mine had one of those, years ago so my memory might slip a bit, and I seem to recall that it got out of its way quite well.

very cool. I have never seen nor heard of that car before. Where are you located?

There sure is a lot of sheet metal work needed on that one. Is the car worth $$?

Or do you just love the car and put a nice challenge in your lap?

The car is kinda a rare car here in ireland as it was a very popular car in the 70s and the fact its a one owner car , and a two door , and an irish car make it rare , but wouldnt be worth mega $$ but i just love it and wand to see it live on.....PS im in Dublin Ireland ..

We never got a two door model here so I can say I am impressed by that project. We did get the two door Escorts and my Mum has one that has been in the family since new although it is a four door.

Didnt get the two door ? heres another mk3 two door i recently bought as a spares car , but have since decided it is a shame to break it so it will be a future restoration project ..
