.... which reminds me:
After a trip out to the coast over the last weekend, I realize that something I've completely overlooked was "first aid" stuff.
My girlfriend took a fall while trying to climb over a 5-foot blowdown, and cut her hand open. Deep. All I had was my little "Ten Essentials" bag, but I'd left it in the cabin instead of loading it into my daypack- dumb mistake.
She already had a doctor appointment set for Tuesday. Doctor looked at it and said "Yeah, you should have had it stitched up, but after 48 hours you can't put stitches in."
Very dumb.
I blew about $20 bucks on bandages and antibiotic ointment up at Walgreens when we got back on Monday.
