Whats in YOUR pocket?

Thought this would be kind of interesting. Just curious what everyone keeps in their pockets while on the job or when working on a project. I try to keep it light and only keep things I use often. Phone stays in my box since I've cracked the screen atleast twice. So here's what I've got.

LED streamlight stays in my left pocket all day. A little bulky, but you get used to it. The Kershaw stays in my right pocket.
Then for my shirt pocket; Fine point Sharpie, pocket screwdriver with valve core remover on the end, tread depth gauge, and Pilot G7 gel pen.

Aside from my wallet/phone:

Click top pen
Streamlight (main light is on cart)
White lighter (smoking and lighting torches)
Sometimes a fine tip sharpie-for writing state inspection stickers.

Wallet.
Phone
Milwaukee fastback. Inspection light which carries 2 aa batteries.
Smokes and a light.
A towel for my face.
I usually keep a beanie nearby but not always on my person. Working below cars always ended up with my hair getting sand

Left front pocket holds change and keys most of the time.
Right front has the cellphone/portable google device.
Right rear - wallet.
Left rear - Leatherman +/- my little buck knife from time to time.

That's about par for my uses, though for certain jobs around the marina/home shop things may change up a little bit. I've found even with the clip, the leatherman has fallen out of my back pocket (usually while getting in and out of the mower seats, desk chair, etc) and has nearly been lost a number of times. Being that I work around water, I have considered a lanyard with a small 'biner as a second level of insurance.

Wallet/keys in one front pocket, my phone and a lighter in the other. Phone comes out if I'm lifting heavy stuff, broke a screen a few years ago.

Now a days when I'm working, just a pen and pocket screw driver in my shirt pocket. Some times a flashlight in my right pocket.

I have that same Kershaw knife. Love it.

Yes! Love the BMF wallet!
Also, what brand and caliber pistol?

That's a Seacamp .32 if I'm not mistaken (and I never am!). :)

I carry a similar one in a similar holster. Mine's a Kel-Tec p32 I've carried daily since 1999. The Kel-Tec is a heck of a lot cheaper, weighs only a bit more than half as much (6.6 oz vs 11.5 oz), and is reliable with pretty much ANY ammo. The Seacamp is rather picky.

But the Seacamp is a work of art, no doubt! Just WAY too nice, expensive, and rare for me to ever consider for daily use and abuse.

Nothing.

I've got no **** to keep my pants up.

Belt doesn't help much.

So I try to keep them empty.

I do carry good fingernail clippers. I hate ragged nails. And sometimes a round wooden toothpick.

Sometimes a couple dollar bills and simple key ring with 4 keys, front door, car door, car trunk and van.

I even carry a man pouch (Similar to a clutch purse, but more manly), to carry CC's, money and ID etc.

Grab that and a Note4 in an Otterbox, in one hand, keys in the other.

Anything else goes in a plastic grocery bag. Can grab it with a finger or thumb.

Not classy or cool. Just practical. I get tired hitching up my pants.

My wife says I have no ***....I just am one!

Bill

PS: I was once held up on the street. The crook held me at gunpoint and said, give me all you got. I pulled my pockets out to show nothing!

Lol yeah the wife got me the BMF wallet as a gag so I started carrying it all the time.....I showed her!!

Fugio is correct, it is a Seecamp .32. Every now and again I walk out back and shoot the pocket lint out of it. It's hardly rare or finicky lol. I bought it years ago before they got all high brow. It's like an old friend.

Right pocket is pill container and change. Left pocket 3' tape measure. Right side on my belt in a Hooey knife holster is a Schatt&Morgan 3 blade pocket knife and a 8" set of Wilde wire pliers in a holster. Rear pockets I carry a billfold and notepad. Shirt pocket always has a pen in it at work. Work has a rule against concealed carry so I leave it in the truck.

Right rear - wallet
Left rear - empty and used for temporarily holding ratchet, screwdriver, rag, etc.

shirt pocket - pen
vice grip on belt if that counts

I also have my streamlight stylus pro on me somewhere every day, but the location changes depending on what I'm wearing.

When I'm working I keep nothing in my pockets except my wallet and that's only because I have to keep my union card on me

I've been reading up on them this morning. Looks like they pretty much are good with most ammo now. Back in the day they said to only use Winchester Silvertip. The only one I've ever shot (many years ago) was pretty picky. Glad yours isn't!

I'm surprised to see the price down to 500 bucks again! They were going for $1200 when concealed carry was all the rage and no one else was offering a super small gun that wasn't a .22 or .25.

I gotta say that, even with no sights, those Seecamps are really straight shooters!

I keep my wallet in my front pants pocket... habit from working in NYCity. My phone is in my shirt pocket. Knife in back pants pocket. I like having a pen but rarely remember it. I got a cool "ballistic pen" that I keep close tho.

When I work... I have a belt clip pouch that has needle nose pliers, small screw driver and razor knife.

I used to carry a multi tool but never used any function other than the pliers so... switched to the needle nose.

Belt holds a LED Maglite and Leatherman Wave and all the rest of my keys clipped to a belt loop.
Phone usually stays in the truck

In the garage, there is usually a pencil in the back pocket, a utility knife, and a tape measure clipped on my pocket. At work it's always a click pen, fine point sharpie, mini notebook, valve wrench, intrinsically safe pelican flashlight, channel locks or a crescent wrench, and a Motorola mts 2000 radio. Yeah, I'm really loaded down but it's needed.
