Just wondering what other guys carry around with them in their tool bag. I usually bring this set with me when i'm doing minor auto repairs away from my garage. I know my tools aren't very nice but i'm only 24 and still in tech school.

I forgot to mention my sockets i use a williams general service 3/8 set that i keep in the hardcase im not a big fan of throwing my sockets in a bag.

My household carry bag is a Husky bag with general tools.

Sorry - the carpet was a poor background for these pics.

Tools Left to Right - top to bottom:

Scissors, chisel, small pry bar, 2 pairs of lineman's, wire stripper, cross cut pliers, 2 pairs of diagonal cutters, needlenose pliers( misplaced the blue handled pair), 440 and 420 channellocks.

Torx screwdrivers, square drive screwdrivers, 2 punches, conduit reamer, phillips and blade screwdrivers, 8" and 6" adjustable wrenches.

Non-contact voltage tester, romex stripper, plug tester, stud finder and electrical tape.

This solves 85% of my issues around the house.

For more mechanical jobs I will toss in my 3/8 drive metric/sae case or a 1/4 drive metric/sae case as needed along with hammers and such. I should setup a metric/sae wrench roll to toss in as needed.

Cheers

Jim

Cherry skoal, usually with 3 or 4 duplicates, There is nothing worse than getting to a job and finding out your out of dip

a dirty magazine, this is real important if working out of town

I am of Hispanic descent so a 28oz Estwing hammer and a 3/8 slotted screwdriver are mucho important...

I at least see.... Channellock, Craftsman Professional, SK, Armstrong, Gearwrench and Williams.

Methinks you've been listening to too many Snap On whores.

:lol_hitti only thing snap on i have in the bag was the grey vise grips but i see where your coming from it seems if its not snap on its not worth your time on this form. I really like the stuff i have from SK and Armstrong i mean im not a pro yet but i would say i wrench harder than the majority of people while still in tech school and the tools seem fine to me maybe one day when im in the field ill be able to afford snap on stuff. and to my suprise my gearwrench stuff has been great!

If you can find something like these, they're great. They get dirty, but get clean very easily. Great quality in this one too. It's all the blokes at work use.
