I'm in the process of trying to organize my tools.

How do you guys organize the stuff inside your boxes? I've seen a couple of pics of wrenches in foam and such, but I want to see examples of socket storage and if you store power tools in the deepdrawers (ie angle grinder)

Thanks!

Thanks! I have a couple of the Hansen socket holders, but my old tool box has s segregated top which must pre-date hansen as it seems I am always a hair away from adding a second of third socket holder to a section - leaving me with large unused spaces. . . .

Plain metals rails here. I like them portable, but I do have problem with large sockets not staying on very well. I plan to make custom holders some day.

I use these molded plastic organizers for wrenches and sockets - Eastwood and Sporty's have them; larger tools are in deep drawers with the nubby rubber liner in the bottom.

I use the same organizers that JohnZ does. So far so good...

Or, when all else fails, I just toss my stuff in a drawer

Almost forgot... I had more wrenches to store and no more spaces left on my organizer. Nor did I have another drawer. So, I decided to make use of the space on the inside of the top cover of my tool cart. Picked up some magnetic mats at Sears and stuck my wrenches to them. So far, the idea works well and it takes advantage of otherwwise wasted space. Just food for thought...

Well, my in-laws got it for me for Christmas a couple years ago. I think it was branded "K Tool." But the brand sticker fells off, so I cannot be sure! All I know is that it has held up very well for me, and it has become my main box. It holds the essentials, and I can wheel it where ever I need it. the drawers are friction slides, though. No ball bearings. But so far I have had no problems with them.
