What's it worth: Craftsman box.

Found this Craftsman tool box for sale. Seller is asking $150.

Looks to be in good shape, anyone have a similar one and what did you pay? How is the quality? Slides still holding up?

I don't want to over pay, but I do want a vintage quality box.

You aren't on your way to get it already. Those old Craftsman boxes are very well built. 150 I would be on the road while me wife was on the phone getting directions from the seller.

No - I have the same top box that my uncle bought in the early 60's

$150 seems like a great deal for that combo

Friction slides and it looks pretty good. It's missing the lock. My grandfathers is about like that I would say late 1960s to 1970s. Go get it $150 isn't much offer $125 and take it home.

Thats a great deal, go get it now. A bottom box is listed on my local cl for $165 right now. I really want it, but don't have the cash to spare. If it was listed for $100 I'd lose self control and go get it.

go get it. these are my favorite craftsman boxes. here's mine. built feb '75 picked it up for $150 with the keys.

hell yea', get up and get after it or she'll be at someone else's home for the holiday !!! those old boxes are only getting fewer & fewer each day for a reason... you can always make your $$ back and maybe more because we (all men w/kids are looking to pass down an old box). it's a good deal... sometimes you find a great deal but this is a good deal, go get it before shes gone.
