The big question I would have is are the batteries any good? I've bought a couple of older kits still new in the box only to find out the batteries are bad. They can take a charge but may die quickly after a few days. New doesn't mean good they will have to be tested.

Part out the kit on Ebay. NOS brings good money. If you are willing to put in the effort I would guess 500 plus. Selling the kit locally will be a struggle as the tools are all outdated.

For some reason the craftsman c3 hols it’s value. You probably get a couple hundred out of it. Nicad batteries, regular drill, light and impact driver are worth almost nothing but the rest should have the value

My neighbor gave my teenage son a whole bunch of old Cman battery tools with dead batteries. A cheap adapter from Amazon that allows use of my Dewalt batteries makes them useful still.

My only C3 tool is their 300 ft-lb impact wrench. I'm just an amateur DIYer but it's worked out well for me. It's gotten off nearly every fastener I've thrown at it, save a few. I realize that this kit doesn't have this tool, but if my C3 tool is any indication, then this was a solid, well-built line, even if it's obviously dated and has long since been superceded by better tools, e.g. brushless, lighter, more compact and powerful, etc.

id second selling in parts on ebay. i have bought and sold a lot recently and made a great ROI buying on marketplace and selling on ebay.. i buy most everything, keep what i want to grow my kit and sell the rest to make it a net profit with free tools. if you look on ebay for your pricing, just take ~20% off what the median cost is and they usually sell quickly. ill also second that new doesnt necessarily mean good. i got a brand new battery that doesnt hold a charge like the others that i have bought actually new and maintained, batteries dont like to sit unused.

Used battery powered tools aren't worth much imo. Our local thrifts practically give them away.

Our local thrifts and used tool places won’t even take used battery tools unless you can demonstrate that the work, and good batteries are part of the kit.

Used current model, functional, tools, complete with batteries, retain some value.

Obsolete models and lines are landfill fodder.
