I called him and asked him what was his best price and he said 250. I said thanks bought thought it was too much and he blew up on me calling me a loser and that i probably voted for obama and.... i just hung up.

Sounds like a real *** bag. I paid $150 for about the same thing but SO, except mine is full drawers. Based on that, I'd say a $100 is a fair price. That said $50 would be my top dollar for that.

You need a side box? There's a full size snap on locker in Howell for 200
I wouldn't say it is worn out, at least not based on the pics, but....
Here is my 2¢ on "standard" side boxes. For someone that cares about storage and not matching their main box, unless it is a significant savings over the $200 HF 7 drawer side box and or has more drawers or is better built (which is not those "standard" grade older side boxes) it is not a $ wise purchase. For that box I would say ~$200 would be fair, but my self wouldn't go above ~$150. Why? because of the reasons stated above. The HF side box is such a good deal for a side box, it is hard to beat even on the used market.
Also I will add IMHO drawers behind doors like that are a royal pain in the rear end to use.
Again my 2¢, take it for what little it is worth.

The only Snap On side locker I can find is $1800.
Maybe it's sold/gone quick and that is why I cannot find it.

X2 - Huge PITA. I have one really old SO bottom box with two doors and one middle-aged Waterloo side box with a door. I'll never buy another box with a door which has to be opened to access the drawers.

I think he is confusing "can't" with "don't want to".
That really isn't bad if it's not worn out. Especially if someone was looking for that particular box. My above statements still stand about a cost effective side box though.
Also please realize, there are a lot of people on this forum that will say something is only worth $**.** but when it is their turn to sell, will not sell for any less than $***.** and add "It's worth much more". I wouldn't be surprised if the seller was a member here.
