Worth it? Any guesses as to which model this is?
I've seen that a few times. It might be a good deal depending on condition. I'm usualy pretty leary of purchasing something not together, but in this case it would be pretty easy to quickly visually inspect for missing parts. It's a KR537 top, KR557 bottom and KR274, possibly KR288 side box. The main boxes are ~33" wide. The condition is what worries me. Usually if the actual slides are worn out, so are the welded on tracks. On that model, IIRC only a few of the slides are still made, and TECHNICALLY, snap on doesn't have to give you free slides, in which case the $ for slides would be hard to add on the initial purchase price.
Just an aside, whenever someone says "this deal cannot be beat" in my experience that is usually not the truth. And seeing as how long it has been listed, well.
Here's another brand I've never heard of before:
That is a cool box, if it is a full size (26") top in good condition it would be worth it IMHO. New Brittan boxes were usually branded by Napa, but that one looks older.
Nice box. It would be a good price if someone was looking for that box, and if the condition is truly as described. However if someone was just looking for a box to store tools, there is quite a bit of competition out there. I'd like to see it in person to judge build quality. I think the industrial brands are fascinating.
